Fans of NASCAR, rejoice!
The popular American auto racing is finally here in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Since the sought after auto racing company NASCAR opened its very first office in Toronto, Canada in 2004, thousands of its fans have been hoping that a racing event from the said organization will finally be held in one of its most loved cities, Vancouver.
Over the years, NASCAR has held many racing events all over the country. At present, NASCAR still holds the annual NASCAR Pinty’s Series, also known as NPS, with different tracks in different places in Canada including Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and Alberta.
Just on September 29, 2018, the completion of the Pinty’s Fall Brawl was held in Jukasa Motor Speedway in Ontario.
For some time now, there have been speculations whether or not there is a possibility that a NASCAR sponsored auto racing event could be held in Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC. After all, the Stanley park stretches for around 9 kilometers – more than enough to accommodate a regular NASCAR racing track.
Many fans anticipate the NASCAR event in Vancouver and they look forward to seeing some of the cars most commonly used for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
Since the first Pinty’s series was inaugurated in 2007, some of the favorite cars used by champions and participants in the popular racing event include cars from General Motors (Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and Pontiac), Ford Fusion from Ford Motor Company, and Fiat Chrysler cars (Dodge Avenger and Dodge Challenger).
The champion of the last year’s NASCAR Pinty’s Series, Louis-Philippe “L. P.” Dumoulin is expected to arrive at the event of NASCAR in Vancouver.
The long-standing international sponsors of NASCAR Canada like 3M, Canadian Tire, Goodyear, and Mobil 1 are sponsoring the event together with local businesses in Vancouver, BC.
